Established in 1994, Select Property Services Ltd (SPS) is one of the leading and most respected property developers and real estate agencies in Mauritius, and provides a complete array of services to landowners, real estate investors and property buyers. Since its inception, SPS has remained completely independent from any major commercial/industrial local conglomerate. We have an in-house full-time team of 9, headed by our founding partner and Managing Director, Bernard Jauffret, who started as a professional accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (1975 to 1980) in London and worked for the well-known Mauritian accounting and auditing firm BDO De Chazal Du Mée from 1980 to 1994 when he founded SPS. The day-to-day running of the company is done by Yan Jauffret and Ashwin Chinnayya who have an extensive knowledge of the Mauritian property market, environment and legislation, and Gilbert Lepoigneur, who has an accounting and financial background.
Throughout the years, we have established solid and long-lasting working relationships with different authorities, government officials and representatives, and the nation’s most respected land surveyors, civil engineers, architects, and project managers, with the result that the most challenging projects are carried through seamlessly and efficiently. Our teamhas the knowledge and ability to select, put together and drive the best team of such professionals to provide tailor-made services to a wide range of clients which include individual landowners, companies, and holdings.
With the setting up of the Estate Agency/Brokerage by Ashwin Chinnayya in 2018, our company has since started to undertake projects on smaller scales to cater for and extend our expertise to such landowners. This department is now firmly plantedand has achieved its cruising speed.
